Dr. Noëlla Piquette is an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Education at the University of Lethbridge. She teaches predominately in Educational Psychology and Counselling Psychology with her teaching and research interest areas concentrating on supporting marginalized populations. Noëlla has been a professor since 2003, a Registered Psychologist since 2007, and has a former career as a Special Education teacher and a school Guidance Counsellor.  Noëlla has been honoured to present widely in Alberta, across Canada, and internationally on early literacy skills, executive function strategies, social and emotional learning, gendered therapeutic interventions, mental health wellness, cultural diversity, and communication skill development. Noëlla strives to  provide practical, empathetic and supportive interventions that inform teaching and counselling practice. She also really enjoys having fun in her presentations and workshops with students, teachers, administrators, therapists, and academics.
